Local CIBC Investment Advisors make generous donation to Summer Street

This donation is made through the CIBC Children’s Foundation, which provides support to charitable organizations that help prepare children and youth for future success. Funds have helped to support Summer Street with various programs such as School to Work Transition and the opportunity for students and youth to utilize our Snoezelen room. The Foundation is funded through the proceeds from CIBC Miracle Day, an annual event held the first Wednesday in December. On this day, CIBC Wood Gundy Investment Advisors donate their fees and commissions to support over 400 charities across Canada. This year’s event is expected to raise over $4 million across the country.

Pictured are CIBC Wood Gundy Advisors from the New Glasgow branch holding  a cheque for $17,000.00 for Summer Street. Over the last 18 years Summer Street has recieved over $100,000.00 through the Summer Street Scramble from the local Wood Gundy team.
